Ever wondered who ABES women are? As a fashion consumer psychologist I love to pour over statistics. When it comes to ABES, my interest is more than idle curiosity. I have to know who are so I can offer information that is relevant to you and your lifestyle.
Not surprisingly, 72% of you are between the ages 45 and 64. 18% are older, and the rest are are younger. This is a nice mix, although it can be a bit of a stretch for me to appeal to all of you. This explains why I post a wide variety of possibilities.
You reside in 50+ nations from every continent other than Antarctica. The majority of you come from the US. Any guess regarding the next country represented? Ireland! It’s followed by Australia, the UK, Canada, Mexico and South Africa. Brazil comes in right behind South Africa. The most represented country in Asia is the Philippines.
What about cities? In the US it’s NYC, followed by Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia and San Antonio. Internationally, Dublin comes in first followed by Wexford, Kildare, Limerick and Cork IR. Capetown, Mexico City, Melbourne and London UK also are in the hunt. Hong Kong comes in first among Asian cities. But this doesn’t mean that all of you come from mega-cities. Hundreds of you comes from towns, villages and burgs across the globe.
What defines ABES women’s style? To understand this I analyze your likes and comments. Generally you prefer casual and dressy-casual styles rather than fancy/evening outfits. You want current styles; yet you aren’t too interested in cutting-edge runway/haute couture designs. You’re not highly trendy. No dressing like your daughters and granddaughters. Your taste runs toward understated, sophisticated and somewhat classic styles. You’re neither budget nor expensive high-end shoppers. You LOVE shoes! Not surprisingly, your profile closely mirrors my likes and tastes. That’s what makes us good for each other.
Most importantly, you are beautiful women who are interested in mind, body AND spirit. You live life fully and have a positive outlook. Congratulations for having developed this life-affirming philosophy!
So there you have it. I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a look at our community. Next week I’ll tell you a little about me.
As always, let me hear from you!
